January 2008, Steve - Managing Editor resigned and
Jonathon took his place. He also began another new
foremat for the newsletter and myspace.
 
February 2008, JoAnn began as Staff Member. So
did Jess aka Big Tittie Bitch. 
 
March 2008, JoAnn resigns the newsletter as well as Terry/WVASQNews.
Subscriber Count  2012.
 
April 2008, Reader's Choice Awards are announced.
Joe_T's Negativity Column begins. 
 
May 2008, Jonathon resigns the newsletter.
 
June 2008, Terry begins a column for a short period called: "Life in
a Small Town", he discontinues it in December 2008.

July 2008, Joe_t discontinues his Negativity Column.
We also began the Drag King Section featuring New

Catch A Break".  J.J becomes new Managing Editor/

August 2008, Gary S. and Big Tittie Bitch
withdrew from the newsletter staff.  Also, our new
"Speak Out" Column began. 
 
September 2008, the Newsletter celebrated it's Anniversary.
 
October through November 2008, the newsletter
decided to have it's own Pageant and begins future
plans for next year.
 
November 2008, John DeBartola, the President of Keystone Alliance, began with the newsletter as Staff and Columnist. John writes "The Agony Aunt Column".
 
December 2008, New Columnist: "Hey Hairdresser" began.
 
January 2009, New Column began: "Reader's
Articles of Interest".  February 2009, Drag King:
Blu began her own column under the Drag King
Section: "Blu's Clues". We lost Stacey Walker
And her column this month as well.
 
March 2009, was busy getting ready for the Reader's Choice
Awards next month. Subscriber count 2288.
 
April 2009, Reader's Choice Awards Event was
held.  John DeBartola was named as the Newsletter's
Show Director.

June 2009, The Keystone Alliance and the Newsletter
merge together into one organization but keeping their
separate names. The newsletter began its own website on
June 17, 2009: www.gaylifenewsletter.com.
It was set-up and assisted by Terry Urban, Editor of
the WVAQueerNews; www.wvasqueernews.com.
John DeBartola became new President, Managing Editor/P.R, Publisher.
 
July 2009, Damanda Dollar and Frank Bittinger
became Newsletter Columnists.
 
August 2009, Damanda also became the Newsletter's Art
Director. Frank Bittinger became Editor's Assistant.
The Keystone Alliance and Gaylife Newsletter merge
both of their names:
The Keystone Alliance/Gaylife Newsletter
into one organziation following with the merger.
The Newsletter expands into a multi-state national gay organziation.
 
September 2009, the Newsletter celebrated it's
Anniversary. Stephen "Our Dear
Queer" takes charge with a new column of "Person
of the Month".  The Newsletter's new Website:  
www.gaylifenewsletter.com. Happy Anniversary!!
The Newsletter Website started a new page
called: U.S/National GLBT News: News from all
over within the GLBT Community.
 
October 2009, Nicole St George and The
Community Awareness Association withdraws
from the newsletter.  Walter Meyer, Author of
"Rounding Third" from San Diego, California
begins as new Columnist: His column is called "Heading for Home".
Lee Lynch from Florida, Author of "The Amazon
Trail". The longest-running syndicated lesbian
column in the US. began as new Columnist. Damanda
Dollar our Newsletter Columnist/Art Director
begins her own Show with outonline.com
called "Tranz-it".  The Newsletter adopts a logo.
The Keystone Alliance/Gaylife Newsletter endorse a Boycott.
The Newsletter expands and creates the Spokane Chapter of The Keystone Alliance.  Janine Boa became president of the Spokane Chapter.
 
November 2009, Blu's Clues and the Hairdresser Columns withdrew from the
newsletter. 
 
December 2009, Damanda Dollar, Miss Keystone Alliance 2009
 and Kourtney Brown, Miss Gaylife All Star 2009, resign from the Newsletter.
Newsletter celebrates getting over 37,000 hits in a two weeks
period and the newsletter had it's 200th Issue on December 15th.
The Newsletter recieves a state grant to provide confidential and free HIV Testing. Waynonna Juggs becomes the New Miss Keystone Alliance 2009-2010
and Akasha Le Stat becomes the New Miss GayLife All Star 2009-2010.
Keith V., Jezebel, Damanda Dollar,
Stephen and Diana Ross resigned as Newsletter
Columnists and Staff Members.
The Newsletter expands and creates The Quad Cities Chapter of The Keystone Alliance. Sue Maravilla becomes president of the Chapter.
 
January 2010: Happy New Year!! The Newsletter
welcomes new Staff Members/Columnists:
Christian Diane- "Christian's Debate"
Becky Chase- "Catty Corner"
Victoria Pitt- "Ask Victoria"-Advice Columnist
Jenna of "Sex talk with Jenna" and
Waynonna Juggs of "Juicing with Juggs".
 
February 2010 Gary Nicklow began as Art
Director for the Newsletter. Thea Trix
began a new column: "Thea's Trix's" and
Janine from Washington began her column:
"The Artist's Easel".  Joe_T withdrew/
retired his column in the newsletter. Stevie N.
started his new column: "The Watering Hole".
The Keystone Alliance/Gaylife Newsletter ends the Boycott against PFLAG only.
 
March 2010 the Newsletter is getting ready
for the Annual Reader's Choice Awards
and counting ballots for May 2010. 
 
April 2010 another new column began in the
Newsletter. Sue Maravilla, President of The Quad Cities Chapter of
The Keystone Alliance from Idaho
began "Diary of a Vampress".
The Newsletter extends Akasha Le Stat, Miss Gay Life All Star
 and Blu, Mr. Gaylife All Stars titles for another year
until the pageant can be held in March of 2011 at The Pittsburgh Eagle.
May 2010, the Annual Reader's Choice Awards was held.
 
June 2010, "Ask Victoria" resigns from the Newsletter. New Column
"Tales of a Dirty Girl" begins in the newsletter.
 
July 2010 The Newsletter website is
shut down for the 4th of July due to so many hits in a single day
and the Newsletter upgrades the website to accomodate
the number of hits recieved. The Newsletter celebrates
getting over 125,000 hits in a two week period.
New column "Notes from a Certified Goddess"
begins in the Newsletter.
 
 
August 2010 new column, "Complementary Healthcare", began by Charles Lightwalker, Executive Board Member and Vice President of
The Spokane Chapter from the state of Washington.
 
 September 2010 is the Anniversary of
the Keystone Alliance/GayLife Newsletter with a Special Benefit
and show at Club231 in Uniontown, Pa. Benefitting the
Shepherd Wellness Community of Pittsburgh, Pa.
 Thea Trix is crowned at Lucille's as the new Miss Keystone Alliance.
The Newsletter endorses LGBT Freedom Week PA
and joins on the Steering Committee for Unity.
A Petition will be singed as part of Valentine's week for unity.
A free Showing of "Out in The Silence" will be on October 11, 2010
for National Coming Out Day at the Cambria County Library. 
Ralph R. begins the "Person of the Month" column.
Jade Nite begins a new column called "A Nite to Remember". 
Akasha Lestat, Miss Gaylife All Star, is stripped of the
rights and responsibilities of her crown for refusing to perform at the yearly AIDS benefit at Club 231. The Newsletter disqulaifies Jezelle Van Cartier for the Miss Keystone Alliance pageant for not acting professional.
The Newsletter begins a public campaign to have Congressmen Mark Critz give his views on gay rights.  The Newsletter has 3283 Subscribers.
 
October 2010 Johnny Gray aka Diva St James began the column: "Poems of Life". The Newsletter sponsors a film showing of "Out in the Silence" at the Cambria County Library on October 11th, National Coming Out Day and gives a lecture on coming out. Senator John Wozniak attends.
 
November 2010 Melinda Beazer from the Spokane Chapter in Washington starts her column, "Mindy's Thoughts".
Diana Ross, Miss Gaylifetime, returns to the newsletter with her column, "Dishing with Diana". The Newsletter sponsors a drag show and lecture on the gay lifestyle at Penn State Altoona.
After 4 editorials, a feature article, and numerous contacts, Congressmen Mark Critz refuses to respond.  
The Newsletter celebrates getting 175,000 hits in a two week period.

 
In December 2010, The Reader's Choice Awards 2011 opened up and began taking nominations.  Our subscribers count contines to raise.  Thanks, All!  Meg O'Rourke from Chicago starts her column, "Life in te Gay Lane.  After two more editorials in the newspaper, one from Senator Daylin Leach, Congressmen Mark Critz finally answers the newsletter that he does not support gay rights. The Newsletter celebrates two Christmas shows, one being a benefit for CCM in Johnstown the other being an annual Christmas show at Escapade.
 
Janaury 2011 Belinda, "The Annonted One", resigned her column, "Notes From a Certified Goddess". Johhny Grey resigns his column, "Poems for Life".  The Newsletter prepares for the 2nd PA Progressive Summit. We are hosting the workshop on Marriage Equality. John DeBartola and Christian Diane go on "Talk It Out" on Outonline.com with Senator Daylin Leach to discuss his gay marriage amendment and the Summit. John DeBartola submits an editorial to the Pittsburgh Tribune Review on the Summit. The Newsletter celebrates recieving 250,000 hits in a two weeks period.  The Newsletter was featured in the Phildelphia Gay News, Pittsburgh Out, Pittsburgh Tribune Review, Pittsburgh Post Gazette and Pittsburgh City paper with articles. The Newsletter presented a Marriage Equality Workshop at the PA Progressive Summit. On the panel were John DeBartola, Dr. Catherine Cox, Senator Daylin Leach, Reprepsentative Mark Cohen and Christian Diane. The Newsletter sponsored a petition signing and post summit drag show at Pegasus/The Pitttsburgh Eagle and collected over 125 signitures. Plans are under way collecting ballots for the RCA's in May.The Newsletter continues the petiton signing for Freedom Week. The Newsletter accepts Cathy Thomas as an Intern for the Spring Semester. She is a student at Penn Highlands Community College.
 
February 2011 The Newsletter prepares for Freedom to Marry Weeks events, The 4th Annual Psycho Spectular Valentine's Extraganza, Your Fuck Crazy in Love: The Final Apology at Lucille's and Diva's in Love at Escapade. Almost 500 signitures are collected between both shows. The petitions will be be sent to Harrisburg. The Newsletter recieves media coverage for the events. Plans are underway for the Miss Gaylife Newsletter Pageant. The Newsleter announces Senator Daylin Leach, Rep. Josh Shapiro, Rep. Mark Cohen and Rep. Dan Frankel will be awarded the Spirit Award at the RCA's in May. Pittsburgh City Councilman Bruce Kraus will be the Master of Ceremonies of the Award Show. Voting for the RCA's continues. Allision Wonderland joins the Newsletter and starts writing her column, "Diary of a Mad Drag Queen". Waynoona Juggs, Miss Keystone Alliance 2009-2010 was in a near fatal car accident and plans are under way for a benefit for her in April.
March 2011, The KA/GN and The Allies Club hosted the Trevor Project on March 9th at Pennsylvania Highlands Community College in Johnstown, Pa.  This project focused on Crisis and Suicide Prevention. Also focused on promoting awareness of issues within the GLBTQ Community.  The Newsletter recieves Media coverage for the event.  The Newsletter announces the formation of an Advisory Board. The Newsletter welcomes Carissa Ashley Ciciarelli and her column, "Grace Words".  The Newsletter hosts the Miss Gaylife Newsletter Pageant. Lady Jezelle Van Cartier is the 1st Miss Gaylife Newsletter. The Newsletter announced the RCA Ceremony is cancelled and the winners will be announced in the newsletter. Senator Eichelberger was invited in the newspaper to the Altoona Pride Celebration for April and ignored us resulting in media coverage of the event. The beneft for Waynonna Juggs was cancelled and rescheduled for Community Care Management on April 1st. Two complants from Waynonna's partner were answered in the Newsleter.  Janet Palovich started her column, "Thoughts of a not so Crazy Person" with the newsletter. Micheal McClure started his column, "Sane in the Aslyum", with the newsletter as well. The Newsletter celebrates 300,000 hits in a two week period.
 
April 2011, The Newsletter rescheduled a benefit originally for Waynonna Juggs to Communty Care Management at Lucille's due to allegations of fraud. The Newsletter answered 2 complaints from Waynonna Jugg's Partner, Brian Peterson. The Newsletter sponsored the 1st Annual Altoona Pride Celebration with the Penn State Altoona's Gay Straight Alliance for Altoona. The Newsletter recieves media coverage for the event in several newspapers due to Senator John Eichelberger's lack of a response and stance against gay marriage. Jezelle VanCartier, Miss Gaylife Newsletter 2011, began as a news colunnist writng her column, "What's Happening with Jezelle?"  Marriage Equality USA began as a new adveriser. The newsletter began making some changes in it's foremat. Dick' N' Fannie.com joins the Newsletter as an advertiser.


May 2011, The Newsletter celebrated the 10th Annual Reader's Choice Awards in the newsletter after cancelling the Awards Ceremony. Congratulations to all the winners. The newsletter is pleased to welcome John DeBartola and his 2nd column, "Mystic Magic by The Shaman Johnny".  Johnny Gray brought back his column, "Poems of Life". The Newsletter sponsored the 1st Annual Johnstown Pride Festival on the Pennsylvania Highlands Commuity College with the Allies Club. Over 23 different organizations were in attendence. Johnstown City Manager Kristen Duff and members of City Council, Police, Military, Religious representatives, Rep. Bryan Barbin, Sen. John Woziank and many other service organizations were in attendence. US. Rep Mark Critz was invited and refused to answer our invitation. The Newsletter recieves media coverage of the event. The Newsletter sponsered a Pride Prom and Drag Show at Pennsylvania Highlands Community College and an After Party at Lucille's. The Newsletter does a benefit for the Lions Club of Altoona at Eldolyn Terrace. Club Pittsburgh joins the Newsletter as an advertiser.

June 2011 The Newsletter attended Pittsburgh Pride. Christian Diane and John DeBartola were guests on Brian T. World's televison show to promote gay pride in Pittsburgh as a kick off for Pittsburgh Pride. The Newsletter recieved a grant and sponsored Free and Confidential HIV testing as part of National HIV Awareness month. The Newsletter recieved media attention for the event. Brian Pavlic joins the newsletter as a columnist with his column, "Brian's Story".  Kitty Klottsalot joins the Newsletter as a columnist with her column, "The Kat's Meow".
